Outpost Adventure Off-Site

Find adventure with Luther Point this summer!  We offer a variety of outdoor opportunities for all levels of experience, from the first-time tenter to the experienced adventurer.  Enjoy spending time surrounded only by the sights and sounds of the beautiful woods of Northwest Wisconsin while being supervised by trained and mature summer staff.  Outpost Adventure Staff are certified by the American Red Cross in Emergency Response, Wilderness First Aid, and Lifeguarding.  Our variety of trips usually last 3 to 4 days and provide a lifetime of experience in both gaining independence and in working as a team.

Our Outpost tenting area provides an area close enough to the main camp to access all of the favorite camp activities, but is secluded enough to provide a rustic camping experience.  Outpost serves as the main camping and cooking area for our Pioneer and Trailblazer Outpost camps, as well as base camp for our off-site trips.

While at Luther Point we want you to have a rustic, real outdoor experience while being sure you have the energy to enjoy camp. Meals on our adventure trips are planned with the following in mind: weight limits for travel, ease of preparation over a campfire, nutritional value, and popularity of the food.  Some of the food is dehydrated and prepared with wilderness trips in mind.  Fresh milk is not available on the river but you will have plenty of water to drink.  We are also glad to try and accommodate special dietary needs, including vegetarian and gluten-free.  Space is limited in canoes and kayaks, meaning that each camper is limited to a specific packing list for each trip.
