Retreat Facilities
- Luther Point Bible Camp is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Northwest
Wisconsin, especially if you have been looking for a place to hold a retreat.
As the demands of career, work, family, school, church and civic responsibilities
become greater, we need times to slow down and be renewed. We need a place
that is set apart from the fast paced lives that we are living. Luther
Point's retreat setting is one of those places where it is possible to
get out of your everyday routine to take some time to study, worship,
pray and play. Our faith in Jesus Christ can be renewed though a variety
of experiences in an outdoor setting. The retreat atmosphere can help
to enrich relationships and give us time to be alone with God.
Set on a Peninsula
The camp
is surrounded by the waters of the Big Wood Lake near Grantsburg, Wisconsin,
located just an hour and a half from the Twin Cities. A variety of hardwoods
and pines enhance the beautiful lakeside setting. Sunsets on the lake
are spectacular. Forty-five acres of woods adjacent to the camp provide
for times of solitude and an opportunity to appreciate God's creation.
Luther Point Retreat Center - a large full-service
center. Rates vary depending on length of stay, number of meals, and type of group.
Luther Lodge - smaller but very comfortable. Available with and without food service. Call for rates.
Trinity - next to Luther Lodge. It is a larger Family Cabin. Available for around $50-$75 a night without food service.
Family Cabins - beautifully renovated cabins just right for a family or small group. Available for around $50-$75 a night without food service.
Camper Cabins - rustic bunk-style cabins. Showers are available in the GLC. Available for a low nightly/per person cost.
